Recently, Hunan Zhongxin New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. in Luxi County of Xiangxi Prefecture received a subsidy of 2.85 million yuan as a key “little giant” enterprise. It’s the first national “little giant” in Xiangxi Prefecture.
Established in 2007, the company is located in Luxi High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It specializes in research, development and deep processing of vanadium alloys. It’s a high-end alloy material production and export enterprise. Its core products include Vanadium-Nitrogen Alloy, High-Purity Vanadium Pentoxide and Vanadium-Aluminium Alloy.
It participated in the formulation of the national standard GB/T40301-2021 for vanadium trioxide.
The company has 49 national patents, and both the number of patents and production technology are at the leading level in the domestic industry.
The company is a national high-tech enterprise, the first national-level specialized, refined, differential, and innovative enterprise in Xiangxi Prefecture, one of China’s top 10 vanadium star enterprises and export credit enterprises, and one of the 52 companies devoted to technological breakthroughs and transformation of sci-tech achievements in strategic emerging industries in Hunan Province.
It has been recognized as a national quality supplier for vanadium nitrogen alloys from 2019 to 2020 and an advanced collective of the first New Hunan Contribution Award in 2021.
In recent years, the county government has focused on strengthening the county through industries, and made utmost efforts to cultivate “little giant” enterprises and make them stronger, and activate the development vitality of small and medium-sized enterprises.
As of now, the county has cultivated one national key specialized enterprise, three “little giant” enterprises and 14 provincial “little giant” enterprises.
